Testy na zvířatech Protože jste se nás často ptali, jak rozeznat společnosti, které netestují své výrobky na zvířatech, zde zasíláme alespoň částečný náhled na problematiku. Naštěstí již dlouhou dobu mnohé společnosti od testů na zvířatech ustupují, (neboť lidský organismus reaguje jinak než třeba králičí, pokud se používají neškodné přísady, neškodí ani výsledný produkt, existují alternativy a je to velmi kruté), je stále mnoho firem, které zarputile testují a lijí králíkům do očí odlakovač na nehty, na rozedřenou kůži aplikují rtěnky nebo prací prášek. Mezi testující patří firmy jako Gillet , Braun,Clairol,Colgate-Palmolive Co. (Ajax, Fab, Hills Pet Nutrition, Mennen, Palmolive, SoftSoap, Speed Stick) Coty (Adidas, Davidoff, JOOP!, Jovan, Lancaster, Rimmel, Stetson)Unilever, Henkel, Kimberly-Clark Corp. (Kleenex, Scott Paper, Huggies)Max Factor, Oral B, Mennen, Pantene, Schering-Plough, Vidal Sassoon - ty všechny podle zahraničních zdrojů krutě testují své výrobky na zvířatech…www.peta.org Domníváme se ale, že nejlepší věc kterou můžete udělat je, se přímo obrátit na společnost od které jste si výrobek koupili, zda-li je tomu tak. Věříme, že tyto velké společnosti Vám velmi rády odpoví, proč tak činí. Naproti tomu jsou společnosti, které mají vztah ke zvířatům - nepoužívají produkty z mrtvých a často ani živých zvířat, a snaží se o co nejpřírodnější výsledný výrobek (například Welleda, nebo Dr. Hauschka) a právě tyto výrobky vycházejí nejlépe při testování kvality, účinku a zdravotní nezávadnosti(narozdíl od dražších chemických, kde platíte z velké části reklamu). Dokonce i velkým společnostem dochází, že testy na zvířatech jsou kruté a zbytečné - například Nivea netestuje již dlouhou dobu. V seznamu jsou firmy které NETESTUJÍ na zvířatech. A) firmy označené hvězdičkou(*) nepoužívají nic ze zvířecích produktů. B) společnosti na seznamu označené tečkou (•) splňují navíc the Corporate Standard of Compassion for Animals (CSCA).
